At Femevia, we understand that reproductive and body health information is deeply personal. Our platform is designed with privacy at its core. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal health data, reading history, or cycle phase preferences to advertisers or data brokers.
We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a gentle and personalized reading experience. This includes: Account Details (name, email address, profile picture from Google Authentication when you sign in), Preferences & Activity (selected health phases, saved articles, comments, and newsletter subscriptions), and Technical Logs (browser type, IP address, and standard session cookies required for authentication and site stability).
Your information is used strictly to power your Femevia experience: allowing you to save articles, manage notification preferences, participate in respectful community discussions, receive our weekly editorial newsletter (if opted-in), and continuous quality and performance improvements.
We utilize Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Infrastructure to ensure enterprise-grade security for your account. When signing in with Google OAuth, we request only your standard profile and email address. We do not store or request access to your private Google contacts or secondary Google account data.
All user data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest within secure database systems. We retain your saved articles and profile data for as long as your account remains active. You can clear your saved items or request account deletion at any time.
